Configuration

💡 Android only.

💡 The steps below are required only if you intend to use Android Intent Action.

AndroidManifest.xml​

You need to add the following config on your android/app/main/AndroidManifest.xml:

<intent-filter>
  <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" />
  <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" />
  <category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE" />
  <data
    android:host="*"
    android:mimeType="application/pdf"
    android:pathPattern=".*\\.pdf" />
</intent-filter>

build.gradle​

On your android/app/build.gradle file you need add the following dependency:

implementation project(':react-native-pdf-extractor')

provider_paths.xml​

You need create this file on path android/app/src/main/res/xml/provider_paths.xml and paste the following content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<paths xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
  <external-path
    name="external_files"
    path="." />
</paths>

Clear cache​

To avoid cache problems we suggest to clean android build cache, execute the command bellow for it:

(cd android/ && ./gradlew clean)
